Variety of roles available at Jobs Fair

An upcoming Jobs Fair will feature a host of opportunities in various roles across South Lanarkshire Council.
Hosted by Facilities, Waste and Grounds Services, the roles which are available include full time and seasonal Grounds Operatives, Street Cleansing, Facilities Cleaning, Facilities Catering and Facilities School Crossing posts.
The event takes place on Thursday 19 March from 10am to 2pm in the Banqueting Hall at South Lanarkshire Council HQ, Almada Street, Hamilton.
It will be a drop-in event open to all members of the public.
Chair of the council’s Community and Enterprise Resources Committee, Councillor Robert Brown, said: “The Jobs Fair is an important opportunity for us to showcase the wide range of services we provide, highlight current vacancies, and promote the benefits and career pathways available within Facilities, Waste and Grounds Services
“The aim of the event is to engage with potential applicants, build interest in our services, and support recruitment across key operational roles.
“I hope as many people as possible come along to learn about the significant opportunities, and please let your family and friends who may be looking for a change in career or the opportunity to start employment about the event.”
The event will also be supported by the Demonstrator Programme and HR Services, ensuring attendees receive high‑quality information, guidance, and insight into working with South Lanarkshire Council.
